• Minimum Requirement : You must have passed the Class 10 (Matriculation) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Appearing Candidates : If you are appearing for your Class 10 board exams in 2026, you are also eligible to apply, provided you can produce your passing certificate during the counseling/admission phase.
• Subject Requirements :
  • For Engineering/Technical trades, you should have ideally studied Science and Mathematics at the secondary level.
  • For non-technical trades, a simple 10th-grade pass (or Class 8 in some specific cases) is required.

How to Apply

• Step One : Registration

  • Visit the official website (bceceboard.bihar.gov.in) and click on the "Online Portal of I.T.I.C.A.T.-2026" link.

  • Click "New Registration" and provide a valid email ID and mobile number.

  • Verify these details using the Verification Codes sent to your email and mobile.

  • Upon successful registration, you will receive a Registration Number.

• Step Two : Application Form Entry

  • Personal Information : Log in with your Registration Number and Password to fill in personal details.

  • Contact Details : Enter your permanent and correspondence addresses.

  • Educational Information : Provide details regarding your academic qualifications.

  • Upload Photo & Signature : Upload a high-contrast color passport-size photograph and your signature in both Hindi and English. The photograph must include a placard showing the candidate's name and the date the photo was taken (which should not be before January 1, 2026).

• Step Three : Preview and Final Submit

  • Review all entered information carefully.

  • If corrections are needed, use the "Back to Edit" button.

  • Once satisfied, provide your declaration and click "Final Submit & Proceed to Payment".

• Step Four : Fee Payment

  • Pay the application fee online using a Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Net Banking.

  • Application Fees :

    • General / BC / EBC : ₹750

    • SC / ST : ₹100

    • Disabled (DQ) candidates : ₹430

• Step Five : Download Confirmation Page

  • After payment, download and print the Confirmation Page.

  • Keep this document safe; it is required during counseling and does not need to be sent to the Board office by post.

Selection Process

• Online Registration : Candidates must register on the official BCECEB portal using a valid email and mobile number.

• Application Submission : Completion of the online form, including personal details, educational info, and uploading required documents.

• Payment of Examination Fee : Payment of the prescribed fee based on the candidate's category.

• Admit Card Issuance : Downloading the hall ticket from the portal starting May 08, 2026.

• Competitive Entrance Exam : Appearing for the physical OMR-based written examination scheduled for May 17, 2026.

• Publication of Merit List : The board releases a merit list based on the marks obtained in the entrance test.

• Online Counseling : Qualified candidates must participate in the choice-filling process for institutes and trades.

• Document Verification : Physical verification of original certificates and identity at designated centers.

• Final Admission : Allotment of a seat in an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) based on merit and vacancy.
