Selection Process
Written Examination : Candidates must clear an objective-type (MCQ) written test covering Law and General Knowledge. Merit List Preparation : A merit list is drafted based solely on the marks obtained in the written exam (a1/4 negative marking usually applies). Document Verification (Counselling) : Shortlisted candidates are called to verify their original educational and experience certificates. Medical Examination : Final selected candidates undergo a routine medical fitness checkup before joining. Final Recommendation : The board sends the final list of recommended candidates to the Department of Home Affairs and Justice./4
