How to Apply

• Read Instructions : Thoroughly study the guidelines and advertisement details before starting the form.

• Registration : Enter your details such as name, date of birth, and category carefully, as these cannot be changed after registration.

• Fill Details : Use your own active mobile number and email ID, and maintain them until the final selection process is complete.

• Upload Documents : You must upload scanned, clear copies of the following documents in the designated columns:

  • Matriculation (10th) certificate.

  • ITI Marksheet and Certificate (Electrician/Wireman trade).

  • Caste, Non-Creamy Layer, or EWS certificate (if applicable).

  • Permanent Residence/Domicile certificate (required for reservation benefits).

  • Photo ID (Aadhar Card is preferred; otherwise PAN, Driving License, or Passport).

  • Salary Payment Certificate (Appendix-1) if claiming work experience points.

• Photograph : Upload a recent photo (within 3 months) with a white background. If you wear glasses, remove them for the photo.

• Final Submission : After ensuring all entries are correct and documents are uploaded, submit the form and download a hard copy for your records.

Selection Process

• Format : The commission will conduct a Computer Based Test (CBT) for all candidates.

• Structure : The paper consists of 100 multiple-choice questions.

• Language : Questions will be provided in both Hindi and English.

• Duration : The exam is two hours long.

• Marking Scheme : * Each correct answer earns 1 mark.

  • There is negative marking; 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

• Normalization : Since the exam may be held in multiple shifts, results will be prepared using a normalization process.

The final merit list is calculated differently depending on the department:

• For Instructor (Science, Technology, and Technical Education Dept.) :

  • Written Exam (75% Weightage) : The percentage of marks obtained in the CBT is multiplied by a factor of 0.75. For example, a 60% score equals 45 points ($60 \times 0.75 = 45$).

  • Work Experience (25% Weightage) : Candidates previously employed on a contract basis in the same role within the department receive 5 marks per year of satisfactory service, up to a maximum of 25 marks. Periods between 6 months and 1 year are counted as a full year.

• For Electrician (Public Health Engineering Dept.) :

  • Selection is based solely on the written examination (100 points). Note that contract experience from other departments is not applicable here.

To be considered for the merit list, candidates must achieve the following minimum scores in the written exam:

• General Category : 40%

• Backward Class (BC) : 36.5%

• Extremely Backward Class (EBC) : 34%

• SC/ST, Women, and Disabled (Divyang) : 32%

• Invitation : Qualified candidates will be invited for document verification based on their category-wise merit.

• Department Preference : During counseling/verification, candidates must clearly choose their order of preference for the department and post. This preference cannot be changed later.

• Requirement : Candidates must present original copies of all documents uploaded during the online application. Only documents uploaded at the time of application will be verified.
