How to Apply

  • Visit Official Site : Go to the Bank's website at punjabandsindbank.co.in and click on "Recruitment" to find the "Apply Online" link for Local Bank Officers.

  • New Registration : Choose "Click here for New Registration" and enter your basic information (Name, Contact details, Email) to receive a provisional Registration Number and Password.

  • Photo & Signature Upload : Scan and upload a recent passport-style color photograph (20kb–50kb) and your signature (10kb–20kb) on white paper with black ink.

  • Fill Application Details : Enter your educational qualifications (Graduation is mandatory) and ensure you have at least 18 months of officer experience in a Scheduled Commercial or Regional Rural Bank.

  • Select State : Choose only one state for which you are applying, as you must be proficient in the specified local language of that state.

  • Upload Documents : Upload your left thumb impression and a hand-written declaration (not in capital letters) according to the specified file sizes.

  • Preview & Verify : Use the "Preview" tab to verify all details before final submission, as no changes (including Category or State) are permitted after clicking "Complete Registration".

  • Online Payment : Pay the application fee (₹850 for General/OBC/EWS or ₹100 for SC/ST/PwBD, plus taxes) using the online payment gateway.

Selection Process

  • Online Written Test : A four-section objective exam covering English Language, Banking Knowledge, General Awareness/Economy, and Computer Aptitude.

  • Personal Interview : A 50-mark assessment of candidates' suitability for the role, conducted primarily in New Delhi.

  • Proficiency in Local Language : A mandatory test of reading, writing, and understanding the specified local language of the applied state (exempt if studied in 10th/12th).

  • Final Selection : Appointment based on a combined merit list where the written test holds 70% weightage and the interview holds 30% weightage.
