Educational Qualification
Sub Inspector (Confidential) : Bachelor's Degree in any stream. Hindi Typing : 25 wpm (Inscript) & English Typing: 30 wpm. Stenography Hindi: 80 wpm. NIELIT 'O' Level computer certificate (or equivalent). Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk) : Bachelor's Degree in any stream. Hindi Typing : 25 wpm (Inscript) & English Typing: 30 wpm. NIELIT 'O' Level computer certificate (or equivalent). Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts) : Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or PG Diploma in Accountancy. Hindi Typing : 15 wpm (Inscript). NIELIT 'O' Level computer certificate (or equivalent).
How to Apply
One-Time Registration (OTR) : Visit the official website uppbpb.gov.in and complete the OTR process if not already done. Access Application Form : Log in using your OTR details (Username/Email/Mobile) to find the link: "SI (Confidential), ASI (Clerk), ASI (Accountant) Recruitment 2025". Fill Details : Accurately fill in personal, educational (graduation), and contact details. Upload Documents : Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and necessary certificates (10th, 12th, Graduation, 'O' Level Certificate, Caste, Domicile). Pay Application Fee : Pay the required fee through SBI Payment Gateway (Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI). Gen/OBC/EWS : Rs. 500/- SC/ST/Female : Rs. 400/- Submit & Print : Carefully preview the form and submit it. Print the final application form and fee receipt for future reference.
Selection Process
Written Examination : An offline (OMR-based) objective-type test covering General Hindi/Computer Knowledge, General Awareness/Current Affairs, Numerical Ability, and Mental Ability/Reasoning. Document Verification & Physical Standard Test (PST) : Candidates are screened for physical measurements (height, chest for males) and academic document authenticity. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) : Running test requirements: Male : 4.8 km in 28 minutes. Female : 2.4 km in 16 minutes. Computer Typing/Stenography Test : Qualifying skill test: SI (Confidential) : Hindi typing 25 wpm, English typing 30 wpm, Hindi Stenography 80 wpm. ASI (Clerk) : Hindi typing 25 wpm, English typing 30 wpm. ASI (Accounts) : Hindi typing 15 wpm. Medical Examination & Character Verification : Final check for medical fitness and background.
